The author, Mushtaq Shiekh, claims the book is not a biography neither is it a coffee table version of what King Khan epitomises. So what is this book that weighs four kilos and costs Rs 3,000, all about?
"I lovingly call it a movie in a book, high pitched drama, a story of a man, it has everything from a hardcore Hindi movie," says Mushtaq.
But Still Reading Khan is not the only book on SRK that is set to hit the bookshelves.
Also in the wings is yet another biography by writer Anupama Chopra, and the one book that everybody's waiting for with bated breath - SRK's autobiography!
So does Mushtaq see competition ahead from his own subject?
"There is so much to SRK, Just one book is not enough, I think round about 90-95 books will do justice," he says.
Mushtaq's book is a pictorial journey of SRK from his days as a struggling actor in Delhi to his rise to fame as the Baadshah of Bollywood.
And going by Shah Rukh's popularity, you'll be still reading Khan for a long time.
