Divvya and Nidhhi Gambhir, the leading Bollywood costume designers are all set with their next big screen release "Daddy" starring Arjun Rampal and Farhan Akhtar. The film set in four decades starting 1970's has already caught the eyeballs with the smashing trailer that released yesterday.

The duo Divvya and Nidhhi share some amazing anecdotes while designing the costume for each character of the film. It took them a year of research to set the look of the film with every little detail according to each decade. From the prints and patterns of each era to details like right sunglasses of the period to the white kurta pyjama with the Gandhi topi, the Gambhir partners put all their designing skills together to set them right.

Divvya and Nidhhi Gambhir, sisters and partners are amongst the leading Bollywood Costume Designers and Fashion Stylists. They started their designing career with the launch of their hi-fashion label, WALNUT. The brand runs into prĂȘt, diffusion and couture.

They became a part of renowned Wills Lifestyle (Now Amazon) India Fashion Week and Lakme Fashion Week for several seasons. One of the major highlights of their career was when the duo and their label WALNUT were selected to represent India at the prestigious Asian Designers' Collection at Japan Fashion Week, Tokyo back in 2011.

Their love for Bollywood couldn't keep them away for too long and got them to Mumbai about six years ago and ever since they have been designing and styling for the stars, movies and ad films.

Divvya and Nidhhi have designed for some interesting films and their kitty is full of diverse projects which prove their versatility as designers.

Their projects include"Qissa" starring Irrfan Khan which was awarded the best Asian film of 2013 at Toronto film festival. They have also designed and styled movies directed by some of the biggest directors and productions houses in industry such as Anurag Kashyap's dark drama "Ugly", Dharma production's "Hassee Toh Phasee", South superstar Suriya's "24", "Happy Bhaag Jayegi for Diana Penty", Banjo starring Nargis Fakhri and Riteish Deshmukh.

In addition, their brilliant work has also leaded them to design for films beyond Bollywood, including Hollywood movie "The other side of the door", a French film, "Les Cowboys", and more.

Lastly, along with movies some of their Advertising projects are with Brands like Medimix, Subway, McDonalds, Colgate, Flipkart, Nike, Cromptan, Myntra, Toyota, etc.
