Celebs and critics whole-heartedly cheer 'Lipstick Under My Burkha'

After receiving global support and acclaim internationally, Lipstick Under My Burkha' is up for release tomorrow. B town celebrities and media critics who have watched the film have whole-heartedly cheered for the film with an average rating of at least four stars across mediums by critics from around the nation.

Leaving behind the stereotypical norms, the film has been particularly appreciated to mirror the society in their treatment to women. All the reviews have been unanimously supporting the film as it said to have creatively and effectively portrayed gender based special norms which lead to gender inequality. Even celebrities like Kalki Koechlin and Shraddha Kapoor who have watched the film are all praises for the film. The immense love that the film has been receiving was certainly long due for director Alankrita Shrivastava as the director fought a six months long battle for the film to release in India, during the same time receiving all the love in global festivals.
