Team Fukrey Returns have started shooting for a promotional song for the December release film amidst torrential rains in the city on Tuesday.

The team of 2013's sleeper hit Fukrey has reunited to treat the audience with a sequel titled 'Fukrey returns'.

Actors Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal and Manjot Singh got together and started shooting for a promotional song for the film in Mumbai's Filmalaya Studio as the city witnessed heavy showers.

The Fukrey actors were seen all smiles in their usual goofy self with the shooting schedule unfazed by floods.

The film's prequel, Fukrey released to applauds from film critics and the very first sneak peek into the second installment of the franchise has attracted a similar response.

The hilarious 'Fukrey teaser' has got the audiences tickling. In less than 24 hours, the teaser has clocked 10 million views.

Helmed with an ensemble cast of Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal and Manjyot Singh, the film is all the more intriguing as it retains the original cast as well as takes the plot of 'Fukrey' further.

Produced by Excel Entertainment, 'Fukrey Returns' is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and is slated to release on 8th December 2017.
