Working tirelessly to create a niche for herself in the industry, Prachi Tehlan is all geared up for her new show 'Ikyawann'. The actress, who shot to fame by the portrayal of her character Aarzoo in the popular television daily soap 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', will now be seen opposite Namish Taneja.

Overwhelmed with excitement, Prachi talked about meeting her younger version for the first time on the sets. `It was amazing to meet Jagriti, who shall be portraying my childhood in the show. It was the first time that we met while we were shooting in the film city. Till date, I just heard about her but the moment we encountered each other, I got a very familiar and similar vibe as if I know her since a long time. We discussed our scenes, character and a lot more. Undoubtedly, she is an adorable kid and a wonderful actor.`

Adding to it, Prachi, who was critically admired for her performance in the Punjabi movie Arjan, said that it was amazing to hear words of appreciation from this adorable kid. `She told me that she loved my character of Aarzoo in Diya Aur Baati hum and also finds me really cute.`

Surprisingly, both the actresses share the same birth date. Speaking of the reaction she got from Jagriti when the kid learned about this coincidence, Prachi said, `She asked about my birth date and my answer brought expressions of surprise on her face. She told me her birthday is also on the same day that is 2nd October. We found it a mere coincidence which indeed surprised everyone!`

The show is expected to go on floor by mid- October, for which the shoot has already started. Hoping it to be a big hit, Tehlan and Jagriti are extremely excited for the show to be on air soon. But as of now, Prachi is awaiting her upcoming Punjabi movie 'Bailaras', which will expectedly release on October 6.
