The item songs are an integral part of Bollywood these days. Over the years the item songs have been evolved. In earlier days item songs were presented as a special treat for the cine goers specifically for masses but these days item songs are considered as an integral part of the movie's storyline. Many Bollywood A-list celebs are trying their hands on item songs. Here's the list of some of Bollywood's most favorite item songs of this new era which have won audiences' heart.

Main Aai Hoon U.P. Bihar Lootne - Shool

In the movie 'Shool', Shilpa Shetty did a dance number which went on to become one of biggest hits of the year and a pop culture classic. The music was composed by Shankar, Ehsaan, and Loy, sung by Sapna Awasthi. It was an instant hit among audiences.

Ram Chahe Leela - Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela

Sensuous, hot, sexy and appealing, Priyanka Chopra was nothing short of a terrific beauty in the song. Her look in Ram Chahe was much-lauded and the number topped various musical charts all across the nation. Sanjay Leena Bhansali who long been one of the top directors of Bollywood presented the magnum opus as a love ballad narrating the agonies of two love birds. The song was sung by Indian Idol fame Bhoomi Trivedi.

Laila - Raees

Laila from Raess was one of the most awaited songs of 2017. The song features temptress Sunny Leone who enchanted her fans with her beauty and sensuous moves in the song. It was a treat to see seductress Sunny Leone performing on an item number which was a remake of Zeenat Aman's iconic Laila O Laila.

Beedi - Omkara

Beedi from Omkara featuring Bipasha was a super hit item song. Clad in a shimmery bikini choli and ghagra, Bipasha added the right amount of spunk with her erotic moves.

Kajra Re - Bunty Aur Babli

It was a sight for sore eyes to watch Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan shaking a leg together in the mujra-style song. Inspired by a folk track from the Braj region, the track had a modern touch to its composition. Featuring the angelic and then-single Aishwarya as a courtesan, Kajra Re was termed as the item number of the decade by leading dailies. The dance steps of the fantastic trio in Kajra Re was choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant who later won several awards for her work.

Chikni Chameli - Agneepath

Chikni Chameli from Agneepath is at number five on this list. Though it was not the first time when Katrina tried her hands on item song, still Chikni Chameli was a rage among the audience. It also helped the movie to become a hit. Although Katrina didn't have a role in Agneepath her appearance in the song made more headlines.

Fevicol Se - Dabangg 2

The face of Fevicol Se Kareena Kapoor had to face a lot of criticism owing to its explicit lyrics and brothel-like theme. While some took a dig at the actress' choice, others went raving about her hotness in the provocative number. The song was an attempt to reprise the success of Munni Badnaam Hui from Dabangg and was an immediate hit on the internet.

Baby Doll - Ragini MMS 2

Baby Doll of Sunny Leone from Ragini MMS 2 is unarguably the trendiest item number of Bollywood and it's on number 3 on this list. Sunny's sultriness and Kanika Kapoor's natural voice put in the required amount of texture in the music video.

Sheila Ki Jawaani - Tees Maar Khan

Sheila Ki Jawaani from Tees Maar Khan is another hit number in Katrina's kitty. Her dancing prowess and her impeccable beauty has made her the queen of hearts. Although Tees Maar Khan failed at the box office the song was a hit and it didn't fail to mesmerize audiences.

Munni Badnam - Dabangg

At top of this list, we have Munni Badnaam from Dabangg. This song was a trendsetter in Bollywood which forced many filmmakers to add an item song to their films. The song was sung by Mamta Sharma and was featured on Malaika Arora and she has added lots of 'Latkas and Jhatkas' to it and created a visual treat for the fans. Amidst illuminated backdrops, Malaika's sexy and desi moves grabbed eyeballs amongst fans.
