Ever since the day buzz about Kapil Dev's biopic has surfaced in the grapevine numerous names got churned in the gossip cog. But now it's final that Ranveer will be stepping in the Kapil's shoes.

Although the film is reportedly about 83 Cricket world cup, it is quite obvious that with Kapil being the sole hero of the biggest sports event of that year it is going to be about him.

With biopic raining from past few years and making their mark from the business perspective it is pretty sure that with a plot based on Kapil's life and Ranveer occupying the center stage the movie is going to be a sure shot hit.
