The youth icon Hrithik Roshan and his father, film veteran Rakesh Roshan,contributed to the National cause, taking part at a mega patriotic event titled `BASANTI CHOLA DIWAS`, celebrating the 110th Birth Anniversary of Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh in Mumbai on 27th September 2017 at Bhaidas Auditorium. The event was organized by NGO Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal & SBS Foundation, under the supervision of its Founder, S. Jitender Singh Shunty, Mumbai Region President, Smt. Ulka Nair and National President, Sh. Hanuman Lakhotiya. Bollywood Celebs Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan paid tributes to one the greatest martyr of this nation, Bhagat Singh on his 110th Birthday.

`Today I am feeling very very proud and very very honoured to be here this evening with all of you to pay tribute to the Legend Shaheed Bhagat Singh, on his 110th Birth Anniversary. Thank you so much SBS Foundation for giving me this wonderful opportunity. For the past 21 years, SBS Foundation has been extending its humanitarian services in the field of Health-care, Emergency services, Ambulance services, Disaster Relief. Shaheed Bhagat Singh always believed 'Dignity and human rights for everyone' and that is the vision and the driving force behind every single mission on taking by SBS Foundation. Their Life-saving missions like Blood Donation, Ambulance Services, Disaster management have been absolutely exemplary and the unique service of the final rites assistance giving to the dead bodies goes one step further in fulfilling the ideology of dignity not just in life but also in death. I want to congratulate SBS foundation for their exemplary work and I assured and promise my assistance help in any way that I can be a part of any of this, I will always there with you. I just end by making an appeal to all of you Support SBS Foundation and find that legend inside of yourself because I know that we all have that legend inside us.
