Aamir Khan productions' Secret Superstar has multiple connections with Baroda and the actor-producer Aamir Khan is leaving no stone unturned to gift love back to the city.

As a treat to Baroda, the actor will be holding the first screening of his upcoming film ss in Baroda.

Secret Superstar is a small town film which is majorly been shot in Baroda.

Not only has the major part of the film being shot in the city along with film crew being residents of Baroda, interestingly actor Tirth Sharma also hails from the city.

In addition to the pre-production, the makers have also incorporated Baroda in the post-production process of the film. Aamir Khan along with director Advait Chandan and Tirth Sharma celebrated the festival of Navaratri in Baroda while promoting the film.

The actor not only celebrated the festival by performing aarti but also indulged into lip-smacking Gujarati Thali.

As a mark of gratitude to the Baroda team, Aamir Khan will be holding the first screening of the film.

Secret Superstar is based on a teenage girl named Insia, played by Zaira Wasim, who sets out to follow her dream of being a singing superstar under the confinement of anonymity.

The film's trailer and the earlier released songs have been receiving much love and appreciation from all quarters.

Produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao under the banner name of Aamir Khan Productions, Zee Studios, and Akash Chawla, Secret Superstar is written and directed by Advait Chandan. The film is slated to release on 19th October 2017.
