After the much anticipation, the trailer for director Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s Padmavati starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh has been released by the makers.

The trailer of the film was released at 13:03 pm. The timing of the trailer was special because Maharawal Ratan Singh fought his first battle with Sultan Alauddin Khilji in 1303 AD.

A few days back the first look of characters from the film was revealed. Deepika Padukone is playing the character of Rani Padmini, wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh(Shahid Kapoor), the King of Chittor and Ranveer Singh is playing the character of Sultan Alauddin Khilji.

This is the first time that Shahid and Deepika are paired together opposite each other and Ranveer Singh is playing a baddie in it.

Where Deepika and Shahid are a treat to watch in the trailer; the highlight of the trailer is Ranveer Singh, who with his kohled eyes and long tresses has taken the baddie look to another level.

The magnum opus is produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions. It is directed by ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is set to release on 1st December 2017.
