After treating the fans with first look posters of 'Dhadak' and its lead actors, now Karan Johar has finally started the journey of 'Dhadak'.

Karan Johar took to his social media account and shared a picture of Ishaan and Janhvi sitting together with a clapboard in the center.

While sharing the picture Karan wrote, "The journey of #DHADAK begins today!! JAHNVI and ISHAAN .....@ShashankKhaitan."

'Dhadak' is the official remake of Marathi blockbuster 'Sairat' and it is being directed by Shashank Khaitan.

Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor is making her debut with 'Dhadak' and she will be seen sharing the screen with Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter, who has already made his mark in acting with Majid Majidi's much acclaimed 'Beyond The Clouds'.

'Dhadak' is a joint venture of Dharma Productions and Zee Studios and is scheduled to release on July 6, 2018.
