After 2017's sleeper hit 'Bareilly Ki Barfi', Junglee pictures has announced their new film with Ayushmann Khurrana. A few days back when Junglee Pictures announced their next venture 'Badhaai Ho' with Ayushmann Khurrana everyone got excited and eager to know who will be the female lead of the film opposite him.

Now clearing the air the makers have officially announced that Dangal fame Sanya Malhotra will be the female lead in the film.

The makers shared the news on social media and shared a picture of Sanya Malhotra and caption it, ".@sanyamalhotra07 to star opposite @ayushmannk in @CinemaPuraDesi's #BadhaaiHo produced by @JungleePictures & @ChromePictures, the film goes on floor in January in the capital."

The actress also replied to Junglee Picture's tweet saying, "#BadhaaiHo 💖 @ayushmannk 🎉💃🏻".

Confirming the news actress Sanya Malhotra said, "I am excited to start work on Badhaai Ho soon. I remember laughing through the first narration of the script and had instantly decided that I had to be a part of this film. It’s a funny and quirky story in which I play a bubbly girl who is Ayushmann’s colleague".

Amit Sharma who has helmed over 1000 ad films including the one on Google Reunion and a short film for Kashmir tourism will be directing the quirky comic entertainer. It is being produced by Junglee Pictures and Chrome Pictures. The shooting of the film will commence from January 2018.
