Rajkummar has a lot going for him this year. The versatile actor was quite excited to receive the Critics Choice Best Actor award for his film, Newton at the Screen Awards 2017 held recently in Mumbai.

It's a double whammy for the powerhouse performer as he walked away with another prestigious award at the ceremony - Best Supporting Actor for Bareilly Ki Barfi.

Rajkummar says, "I would like to thank the director of Newton, Amit Masurkar, producers Aanand L Rai and Manish Mundra without their support the movie wouldn't have been made. I would also like to thank the audience for giving so much love to Newton and if you continue doing that I'm sure we will be able to make 10 more Newton."

The versatile actor, who was honoured with a National Award four years ago, is now unabashedly breaking rules on his way to stardom, starring in a web series titled Bose, making a smart move by catering to the digital audience, after delivering box office hits.
