Speaking to this journalist, Mahima Singh Puri said, "I had tweeted to Colors to look into the matter. There have been several complaints from artistes that the senior casting director who has been associated with Endemol Shine India and Colors for the last 9-10 years is insisting that artistes and models first sign up with this casting agency. On 23 and 24 November, I had tweeted that Bigg Boss contestants Vikas Gupta and Priyank Sharma were closely connected with this senior casting director and an event manager who has an office in the lane opposite Citimall near the Lokhandwala Infinity Mall and they trio were making all sorts of weird demands from female artistes including asking them to compromise for work. There was no action at all from Colors or Endemol. My friends and my manager Suresh Shetty advised me not to take up the issue as it could "destroy" my career. But I do not care for such things. There are a lot of illegal activities going on by third party agents or casting directors who are connected with Endemol and Colors who demand even Rs 15 to 25 lakh for an entry into Bigg Boss and other TV shows. It is high time some one spoke up and brought this up. I even tweeted to Raj Nayak the COO of Colors but there was no response. I think such corrupt and unjust practices must be checked and someone must speak up against this. I do not want to take names, because its not just one or two people. Everyone in the industry knows who is the senior casting director I am referring to who has been associated with Endemol and Colors for the last 10-odd years. It is for the Production House and the channel to take action and make things transparent."
