The rumours were rife from past few days when Anushka flew out of the country with her family.
Anushka and Virat tied the knot in Italy, in a private ceremony where close friends and family members were invited.
The wedding took place at a countryside resort named Borgo Finocchieto, one of the most expensive holiday properties in the world. The property is located in a small village called Bibbiano - having a population of fewer than 100 people. It is in the Tuscany region of Italy.
Virat and Anushka met during the commercial shoot of a shampoo brand.
As soon as the news of their marriage broke out wishes from around the world poured in for the celebrity couple. Virat and Anushka shared their wedding news on their social media accounts.

The couple will be hosting a reception in New Delhi for their relatives on December 21 which will be followed by a reception for industry friends and cricketers in Mumbai on December 26.
