In the R Balki-directorial, Akshay will be seen stepping into the shoes of national hero Arunachalam Muruganantham; the inventor of low-cost sanitary napkins for women in rural areas.
Produced by Twinkle Khanna's Mrs Funnybones Productions, 'PadMan' also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles.
On the other hand, Neeraj Pandey's 'Aiyaary' featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, and Rakul Preet Singh will be released on 26th January.
Aiyaary revolves around two strong-minded army officers having completely different views, yet right in their own ways. The film portrays Sidharth Malhotra as an army officer sharing a mentor-protege bond with Manoj Bajpayee.
Well, now after the change of PadMan's release date fans of both these films will feel delighted.
