It's just less than 10 days left to the release of the film but it seems that troubles are not over yet for Padmaavat. Though CBFC has given its nod to release the film with few modifications still few states which are interestingly ruled by BJP have banned the film.
Anil Vij, Health, Sports, Science & Technology Minister of Haryana took to Twitter and wrote, "Film Padmavati/Padmavat banned in Haryana".

The Haryana cabinet headed by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar formally approved the proposals made by two ministers Anil Vij and Vipul Goel to ban the film in the state.
The film had faced stiff opposition ever since its announcement and controversies around this period drama are increasing every day.
However, the makers have already clarified that they have not tempered any historical fact and they have presented the valor of Rajput community with utmost respect.
Meanwhile, the producers of Padmaavat have moved Supreme Court after six states have said they will not allow the film to be released. The top court has agreed to hear the plea of producers. A bench comprising Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud considered the submission of producer's counsel that the matter be heard urgently after the ban on its release by various state governments.
Padmaavat starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and it's slated to release on 25th January 2018.
