The Walk commenced with the flag off by Nawazuddin Siddiqui who supported the initiative with an equal enthusiasm of doing something good for the nation.
Abiding by the PM of the country Mumbai Central GST commissionerate in the guidance and leadership of Dr K N Raghvan successfully conducted & participated in the initiative of Swachhta Fortnight , through conducting a morning walk from GST Office Churchgate to Nariman Point at 7pm on 19th January 2017.
The event was conceptualized by Additional commissioner Manpreet Arya Mumbai Central and participation of senior officers was the focus point.
Other present were commissioner Dr K N Raghvan, additional Commissioner Manpreet Arya, Joint Commissioner Pankaj Yadav, Joint Commissioner Vipul Gupta , many deputy and assistant commissioners along with staff of Mumbai Central CGST commissionerate.
Dr K N Raghvan says , "It is really great to have Nawazuddin Siddiqui supporting us for this initiative. I am glad that so many people are coming forward without any hesitation to support this. Intensive cleanliness drive is what is Swachhta Fortnight aims at and we are doing out bit to support it".
