The actor who was beefed up for Alauddin Khilji's character in Padmaavat has now undergone a drastic physical transformation for Excel Entertainment and Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy.
Ranveer has shed all that weight and muscles that he had gained for Padmaavat and is now in a lean avatar for Gully Boy.

Gully Boy is Ranveer's second collaboration with Zoya. The first movie they had worked on together was 'Dil Dhadkne Do'.
The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead role.
Gully Boy is a story inspired by slum rappers of Dharavi. Ranveer Singh who is paired opposite Alia Bhatt for the first time on the big screen is playing the role of a street rapper.
The film is directed by Zoya Akhtar and is produced by Excel Entertainment.
