In an interesting turn of events, Akshay Kumar 's Padman is all set to clash with Neeraj Pandey's Aiyaary once again.
Aiyaary which was initially slated to be a Republic Day release postponed its release date upon the announcement of Sanjay Leela Bhansali' s Padmaavat on January 25th.
The makers of Aiyaary decided to break the clutter and release their espionage thriller on February 9th, 2018, thus averting a clash with Padman and Padmaavat.
However, just a week before release Padman announced its postponement to February 9th, giving Padmaavat a solo release over the Republic Day weekend.
The date change has Akshay Kumar once again locking horns with his 'Special 26' director Neeraj Pandey. Ironically, it is for the second time that Padman will be sharing the same release date as Aiyaary. Earlier too team Aiyaary had announced its release on 26th Jan and Padman had followed suit by marking the same day.
With the recent turn of events, both Padman and Aiyaary are back to clash in the big screens on February 9th.
The clash was welcomed with a witty tweet by team Aiyaary, who wrote, "Good to have you back! See you on 09.02.18".
