Yami Gautam who delivered a power packed performance in Kaabil gives a special shout out to the film as it completes 1 year.

The film starred Yami Gautam and Hrithik Roshan as a visually impaired couple. Their pairing had set the screen ablaze and had garnered immense love and appreciation from across the quarters.

The actress feels strongly for the visually challenged, so much so that years ago she along with her family had pledged to donate her eyes to the visually impaired.

As Kaabil completes one year, Yaami tweeted captioning, "1 year to the most special movie in my heart.. 1 year to the most special team I have ever worked with...Thank you @RakeshRoshan_N sir @iHrithik @_SanjayGupta @RonitBoseRoy @rohitroy500 #SudeepDa @DoP_Bose ..& big hug to all the people for your love..#1YearOfKaabil ❤️".

Her role in Kaabil, years after Yami made the noble move of organ donation, further drew her close to the challenges faced by the visually disabled.

Yami Gautam will next be seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu alongside Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.
