Superstar Deepika Padukone recently confessed about her best birthday gift that she received this year, which was Padmaavat's certification that finally arrived earlier this month.

The movie had a delayed release and there could be nothing better than Public screening certificate of the movie that she could have got as a birthday gift.

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is on cloud nine after receiving tremendous applause of praise from the critics and audiences for her role in her latest release Padmaavat.

Deepika revealed that she was on a family holiday. When she received a call from Sanjay Leela Bhansali, she was obviously in for a surprise when she heard that her film has been certified.


The actress recently said, "I was holidaying with my family when I got a call from Sanjay (Leela Bhansali) sir saying that the film had got its Censor certificate. Yes, the CC is dated 5.1.2018 and I think it is my most precious and the best birthday gift."

She is enthralled with all the appreciation she has been receiving for her role as Rani Padmavati in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmaavat'.

This is Deepika's 7th movie who's collection has crossed over 100 crore, making her the only actress in Bollywood with such huge Box office collection.

Deepika's work is not just loved by the audience but also by the critics.
