Dutt made an exception and shot for Apoorva Lakhia's Shoot-out At Lokhandwala for just one day.
"And that too, only because he's shooting for his dearest pal Sanjay Gupta's production. It's got nothing to do with director Apoorva Lakhia," reveals a source.
"When Sanju realized that the combination shots with Mr Amitabh Bachchan and 35 other members of the cast for which he was needed, would be impossible to arrange again, he immediately agreed to drop his rule against shooting until the court verdict.
Sanju is very emotional about his friends, and would do anything for them. In fact he'll be playing Sanjay Gupta in a film that Gupta will direct. It recreates the whole episode from Gupta's life when he had a near-fatal car accident," reveals the source.
Sanjay Dutt shot throughout on 1 November at Mumbai's Eliphinston College in front of hundreds of cheering bystanders. He was in good spirits and kept joking and laughing between shots. His rapport with the Big B was apparent all through.
Both father and son Bachchan dote on Dutt and would never say no to him for anything.
Dutt is the co-producer of Shoot-out At Lokhandwala.
