Renowned Hindi film producer N.N. Sippy, who delivered some of the biggest hits of the 1970s and 1980s, died here Tuesday evening. He was 75.
Sippy was admitted to the Breach Candy hospital last week for treatment of a heart ailment. He breathed his last at 6.50 p.m., family sources said.
His productions included musical hit "Sargam" (1979), "Chor Machaye Shor" (1974), showman Subhash Ghai's debut film "Kalicharan" (1976) and "Meri Jung" (1985). His
last film was "Silsila Hai Pyar Ka" (1999).
