'Pad Man' gets a decent start at Box-Office!
Akshay Kumar starrer 'Pad Man' which got released last Friday is being widely appreciated and loved by the audience all over.

Though the film opened to mixed reviews, critics and audiences loved the performances and unique storyline which indeed is a hero of the film. The film is about menstrual hygiene, which is still considered as taboo in many parts of our country.

The film opened to a decent start on Box-Office and minted 10.26 Cr on its opening day. The day saw some growth in the business and film collected 13.68 crores. Though we are still waiting for day 3 collections we are sure it will surpass the Saturday collection.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the figures on Twitter. He wrote, "#PadMan makes RAPID STRIDES on Sat... Picks up SPEED... Biz should be STRONG on Sun too... HEALTHY weekend is on the cards... Fri 10.26 cr, Sat 13.68 cr. Total: ₹ 23.94 cr. India biz."



Apart from Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor are also part of this film.

'Padman' is based on the real-life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist who revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine. It is produced by Mrs Funnybones Movies, SPE Films India, Kriarj Entertainment, Cape of Good Films and Hope Productions.
