Kartik Aaryan's Sonu Ke titu ki sweety is unstoppable at the box office collecting 5.5 crore on its second friday while Pari on its releasing day collected only 4 crore.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is currently in its 2nd week and is doing exceptionally well at the box office. The film already crossed 50 crore benchmark and is standing tall from its counterpart. The film's unique theme had a stiff competition from a typical Bollywood drama yet Kartik's power-packed performance in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is making news everywhere.

The film opened impressively at 6.42 crore and since then there has been no stopping for this film. SKTKS released along with Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh's multi starrer film Welcome to New York last week but couldn't stand for a longer period of time in front of SKTKS. And this week Anushka Sharma's film Pari released which couldnt didnt have an impressive opening considering her star power and a solo release , whereas Kartik's SKTKS still standing tall and loud. SKTKS has hit the right chord of the audience and stood a winner.

The only film of this year so far that collected impressive collection without having a superstar in the film. Kartik's superlative performance was unanimously appreciated by the critics as well as by the audience. Its been touted as Kartik is the new superstar in the making. And at the rate at which the film is minting money. Looks like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is on its way to enter the 100 crore club.
