Here's how Zoya Akhtar had Ranveer Singh celebrate Women's day on the sets of Gully Boy!

Zoya Akhtar, who is one of the most celebrated woman filmmakers in Bollywood, had her Gully Boy team celebrate Women's Day in the quirkiest way!

Yes, the captain of the ship, Zoya had her team Ranveer Singh and the crew dressing up in skirts to mark the occasion.

The director along with the lead actor Ranveer Singh and other cast and crew opted for a unique way to celebrate Women's day, that by wearing skirts.

All the male actors present on the set including Ranveer Singh and Siddhant Chaturvedi had donned their favourite skirts as a token of love to all women on set.

The entire cast and crew had a gala time with a celebration complete with a cake.

Zoya Akhtar took to her Instagram story sharing the glimpse of the on set celebration.

Gully Boy is a story inspired by slum rappers of Dharavi. Ranveer Singh who is paired opposite Alia Bhatt for the first time on the big screen is playing the role of a street rapper.

The film is Ranveer's second collaboration with Zoya which showcases the actor in a leaner avatar.

Gully Boy also stars Alia Bhatt who is marking her first outing with Excel Entertainment and Zoya Akhtar will be seen in a never seen before avatar in Gully Boy.

The film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles.

Gully Boy has been creating immense buzz ever since its announcement. Be it for the prep videos or the spottings.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment, Gully Boy is slated to release on 14th February, 2019.
