The makers of October have set out to create a stir amongst the audience through their innovative and intriguing approach. From announcing the release date of the film through a digital calendar to teasing fans with images and posters for days, the trailer of the much awaited film October starring Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu was unveiled before the audience amidst much fanfare! The trailer launch was given an innovative twist when Varun Dhawan was seen on Twitter Periscope, the video of which was screened live at the venue building the anticipation for his fans. From fans to industry stalwarts, reactions have been pouring in from one and all praising Shoojit Sircar's unconventional take on love and the cast.

Based on the relationship between Varun and Banita's character, Dan and Shiuli, Shoojit Sircar's unique story about love definitely tugs at your heartstrings and paramount proof of this is the numbers! The trailer has crossed a whopping 20 million views in 24 hours of its launch! Touted as the most liked and shared video, Dan and Shiuli's imagery is even being transformed into mobile and desktop wallpapers!

The video starts with a beautiful montage of white flowers strewn on the grass followed by the adorable yet innocent Varun Dhawan as Dan inquiring about why Shiuli was asking for him. While Varun absolutely charms us with his childlike innocence, debutant Banita Sandhu as the docile Shiuli sure leaves an impression. It marvelously narrates the journey of Dan and Shiuli yet managing to intrigue and peak the audience's curiosity further!
