Ankita Lokhande is making her Bollywood debut with 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' a film based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi.
While film is still being shot and there is no announcement about the release date of the film, a picture from the sets of the film is doing rounds on internet. In the picture Ankita can be seen drapped in a saree posing as Jhalkari Bai.
Ankita is playing a soldier, Jhalkari Bai, in the army of Rani Laxmibai.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. It is directed by Krish with script by K V Vijayendra Prasad, who has co-written Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
