Small screen's dancing sensation Shveta Salve gave a scintillating performance at the 38th foundation day
celebrations of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) here.
Actress Urmila Matondkar added spice to the glitzy affair as the special guest of honour at the function,
which was celebrated as Las Vegas Night.
The event was hosted by Atul Nishar, newly elected president of IACC, and Vice President Brian Brown at
the ITC Grand Central here Friday.
The hotel's ballroom was transformed into the famed casinos of Las Vegas with guests trying their luck at
the roulette table or their hand at the black jack. Though it was a mock gamble, the enthusiasm was lively.
Nishar and his wife Alka raised a toast to commemorate the anniversary and were joined by special guests
of honour US Consul General Michael Owen and his wife Annerieke.
A dazzling performance by Shveta and her dance partner Longi, who reached the finals of Sony TV's dance
show "Jhalak Dikhla Jaa," followed.
Among the creme de la crème of society present were top cop Javed Ahmed with wife, US Trade Council's
Jim Cunnigham and US Visa Chief Glen Keiser.
