It was surprising for everyone when Surveen Chawla revealed her marital status suddenly this January. This beautiful actress got married to her longtime boyfriend, Akshay Thakker, in 2015 in Italy. Both of them kept the news of their marriage under the wrap for a very long time until they recently felt like sharing it with their fans.

In a recent interview with Bombay Times, Surveen Chawla happily said that not much has changed in her life even after her marriage and everything is almost the same. She further said that her life after marriage has only gotten better from as compared to before. Not only this, she further says, " I don't know why people are shocked to know about my marriage? The old days are gone when actresses would achieve their goals first and after getting married rests and works rarely. Now many actresses have achieved their great achievements after their marriage and just because I was very ambitious and focused on my career, doesn't mean that I never wanted to get married or I never had this in mind."

According to her, she is in a very comfortable and happy space with her husband. She says, "My husband won't say anything if I go topless on screen or kiss my co-actor if the script demands in a film."

Surveen Chawla was last seen in ALT Balaji's Haqq se and now after a small break, she will be back on screen with Sujay Ghosh's upcoming project, named 'Teen Paheliyan' which will be telecasted on Star Plus.
