'Veere Di Wedding' is getting all the love and had the whole nation waiting for its release.The film starring an ensemble star cast of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania, has received the third biggest opening of 2018.

Veere Di Wedding took a good start in the morning shows of 30-35% and is the third best opening in terms of occupancy of 2018 for Hindi films.If we take the morning shows then it is the third biggest opening ever after Ragini MMS 2 and Jism 2 for films which dont have a main lead male star.

The reviews too, have been very positive and the leading ladies are receiving all the love and appreciation for their bold performances.

Times of India in their review mentioned, "The four leading ladies break the proverbial glass ceiling with their sexy stilettos. We've rarely seen women on screen who are so uninhibited about their life, sexuality and desires. In that respect, 'Veere Di Wedding' is a brave effort indeed."

Bollywood Life (3.5/5) concluded their review with, `Veere Di Wedding is unapologetic and brash in its message that women can have as much fun as men, if not maybe a little more!`

IANS in their review said, "This film is great fun to watch. The quartet of gorgeous women are more entertaining than the four guys in "Dil Chahta Hai.`

The opening of Veere Di Wedding is better than films like Pad Man, Raid, October and Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran which had leading male stars driving the films. It is also better than Raazi as far as morning shows go but the film will have to be far better than its trailer if it is to match that film after the first day business.
