After months of waiting and anticipation, the most awaited trailer of Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starrer `Dhadak` has been released.

`Dhadak` is a journey of young, pure, unconditional and a fierce first love that fights fate. `Dhadak` is a story of two young and passionate individuals Madhukar and Parthavi, who make a safe haven of their own when they fall in love. But as their love grew, so did their problems when their families reject their love. Torn between society and families, their fate becomes uncertain but their love stands strong.

Shot at beautiful and picturesque locales of Rajasthan, `Dhadak` has all the elements which will make it a big hit. The chemistry between Janhvi and Ishaan is incredible. The soothing music of the film is an advantage.

Producer Karan Johar has left no stone unturned to retain the simplicity of the film. He has re-created the Hindi version of `Zingat`, which was a huge hit from the original.

`Dhadak` is an official remake of the hit-Marathi movie `Sairat` directed by Nagraj Manjule. The Hindi remake is being helmed by Shashank Khaitan, previously known for directing `Badrinath ki Dulhania`. The film is a co-production between Zee Studios and Dharma Productions and was earlier scheduled to be released on July 20th, 2018.
