Aditya, as prefers to call himself, debuts in Vikram Bhatt's "Fear" releasing early next year. But the new kid
on the block is unperturbed by his non-filmy background saying Bhatt's god-fatherly approach makes him
confident.
"I feel blessed that I got a chance of working with R S Entertainment and Vikram Bhatt. He is my mentor
and like a godfather to me. It's difficult to get started but everyone has to go through that pressure
irrespective of status.
"No one casts you only because you're a star son. Ultimately your work as an actor matters and is up to
the audience," Bollywood Trade quoted him as saying.
A management graduate, Aditya dreamt of acting ever since he was a kid and harboured a wish of working
with Kamal Hassan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
"I've always been very passionate about acting. I'll be more than happy if I can entertain people and give
them a moment of joy. I don't have idols but I'll love to work with Kamal Hassan, Shah Rukh, Aamir and
Kajol," Aditya said.
The film is being produced by Sippys and has music by Himesh Reshammiya.
"I heard that R S Entertainment was making a film and they were looking out for a newcomer. I submitted
my pictures, the audition happened and after a couple of meetings I was on board.
"FEAR is a super natural thriller about ghosts and also launches other newcomers Alisha and Amit Gaur.
It's an interesting story about three characters."
Aditya says he loved Bhatt's "Ghulam", "Kasoor" and "Raaz".
"I've seen most of his films but 'Ghulam' is my favourite Vikram Bhatt film. I'll cherish every moment we
spent on the sets of 'Fear'. I have one more film with him and two more with R S Entertainment."
