Akshay Kumar has always been patriotic at heart and it's not us saying that, it's his movies. From 'Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty' to 'Padman', Kumar's every movie had a strong message for the nation behind it.

His upcoming movie 'Gold' certainly portrays the same look. Akshay Kumar recently announced the release of the trailer of the movie on the 25th of this month.



The movie has been directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. Starring in the movie are Akshay Kumar, Kunal Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Vineet Kumar Singh and Sunny Kaushal. It is written by Javed Akhtar.

'Gold' is a true story about independent India winning its first gold medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics in field hockey. The movie is expected to release on the 15th of August, 2018.

It is expected to be Kumar's another big hit in the Box-Office.
