Recently, prolific filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani took to Twitter to praise the film. The director who has a restricted social media presence went all out of the way to hail the Sohum Shah starrer. Rajkumar Hirani wrote, "Just saw an early screening of TUMBBAD. I have not seen a more visually stunning film in a long time. Great camera work, art, costumes. And @s0humshah you are outstanding in the film!"

Says Producer Aanand L Rai, "Very excited to release Tumbaad this year. Other than the great storytelling, Tumbbad is an audio-visual experience on the big screen. Personally, I feel it's a genre-defining film for our audience."

Tumbbad is an Eros International and Aanand L Rai's presentation and a Little Town Films production in association with Colour a Yellow Productions. Co-produced by Film i Väst and Filmgate Films. Tumbbad is set to release on 12th October 2018.
