As Kenny Sebastian mentors the future of comedy in Amazon Prime Video Original's Comicstaan, the comedian shared how he started storytelling.

Being one of the most loved comic artists in the nation, Kenny has been an inspiration to the budding talents.

Coming up with new and interesting acts everytime, Kenny along with fellow judges have been mentoring the contestants of Comicstaan to hunt for the future of comedy.

The comedian shared a comical picture and wrote, " One of my first access to storytelling/art of any sort has been comic books.

The way comic books took you through a story just using visuals had unmistakable flare to it.

I survived through school sketching superheroes at the back of my notebooks (been caught sketching iron man during my boards on my question paper also ). My dad recently told me that he used to take me out to drawing competitions & I used to finish really fast and observe the other kids sketching.

Guess I was wondering why would you draw anything from real life when you can render anything your mind wants."

The show Comicstaan brings together the top comedians of the nation under one roof as Tanmay Bhat, Kenny Sebastian, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Kanan Gill, Kaneez Sukra, Sapan Verma and Naveen Richard as judges while Abish Matthew and Sumukhi Suresh host the show.

Comicstaan is a nine-episode series presenting a new theme every episode, where the judges hunt for the future of comedy.

The recently released trailer tickled the funny bones of the audience piquing the interests of everyone.

Comicstaan is laugh-out-loud funny with carefully plotted jokes, quick-witted dialogue and hilarious memorable moments that are relevant in pop culture today.

The first four episodes are available to stream since Friday, followed by new episodes weekly every Friday.
