Three unidentified men entered the Bandra residence of eminent filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt last morning.
According to reports, the miscreants asked to Bhatt's son about his father, who was not at the house.
When asked about the purpose of their visit, the miscreants refused to reveal the details and took out their
knives.
When son Rahul and his mother started shouting for guards, the youths fled away. Sketches of the
suspects are being made.
Bhatt is presently in Singapore.
An FIR has been lodged at the Bandra Police Station in this regard.
It may be recalled that an unidentified gunman had entered the Juhu office of Bhatt on July 14 this year and
fired shots before leaving the premises. Incidentally, Bhatt was also not present on that occasion.
A noted underworld don, Ravi Pujari, had claimed responsibility for the incident. He also had alleged that
the filmmaker was close to Chhota Shakeel and Dawood.
Bhatt was given police protection after the shooting incident.
