Ali Abbas Zafar's film 'Bharat' features Superstar Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Disha Patani in lead roles.

Ali Abbas Zafar announced the film and took to twitter as he commenced shooing

The team has shot the muharat shot with Salman Khan and the entire cast alongside. The shooting will take place at an elaborate studio and will continue till August, after which they will move to Malta, followed by a schedule in Abu Dhabi.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar has been planning the shoot for months and will be starting with an circus sequence set in the late '60s.

Ali Abbas Zafar shared,"The idea is to create an Indian-Russian circus like Raj Kapoor's Mera Naam Joker. Performers from all over the world are flying down for the circus tricks which will be a mix of trapeze hoops and rope stunts.

Salman plays a daredevil stunt motorcyclist in the circus while Disha is a trapeze artiste who plays with fire,`.

Salman and Disha will also go through a metamorphosis through the course of the film, Ali Abbas Zafar further informed that prosthetics will take Salman back to his Karan-Arun days

Salman Khan was busy during these days because of his highly popular Dabangg concert tour which ended recently.

Speaking further about the film Ali Abbas Zafar said,"We will be ending the Mumbai schedule with a Holi song featuring Priyanka will have different looks in the film which the team has been working on in great detail as the film travels from the 1960s to the present day"
