Sumukhi Suresh who is co-hosting Amazon Prime Video Original with Abish Mathew has revealed that she is a former fangirl of the comic sensation.

She also feels that Abish Mathew is the best person you can go on stage with as he has your back all the time.

Sumukhi Suresh also said that Abish Mathew made hosting very easy for her.

She shared,"I am a former fan girl of Abish. I was that comedian who has a crush on another comedian. Abish is an excellent host! His energy is always high and It's impossible that we have walked in on set with a script that he hasn't double checked spotted the loopholes and fixed it! He is the best person to go on the stage with as he has your back all the time. Initially, my first episodes I was very jittery but he was very accepting. He made hosting easy for me!"

Amazon Prime Video's Comicstaan brings together seven of India's best comedians -- Tanmay Bhat, Kenny Sebastian, Sapan Verma, Naveen Richard, Kaneez Surkha, Kanan Gill and Biswa Kalyan Rath.

All the judges are seen mentoring, and judging the budding talent, as they compete each week to win the coveted title.

Comicstaan' is laugh-out-loud funny with carefully plotted jokes, quick-witted dialogue and hilarious memorable moments that are relevant in pop culture today. The first four episodes were available to stream on July 13, followed by new episodes weekly.
