Adeeb Rais's 20-minute short film is all set to release on 29th September 2018. Talking about the concept and the film in general, Adeeb says, "I always wanted to work with Shabanaji, who wouldn't? I look at her as a living legend. And ever since this germ of directing her got into me, I wanted to create something just for her. We have always seen her being confident and poised so I wanted to do something softer. I wrote Auntyji keeping her in mind and I am glad she agreed to do it."

"Playing a Parsi character was Shabanaji's idea and I was unsure in the beginning as I had not developed her character keeping this in mind. But as the script developed and we progressed to workshops, everything fell into place", adds Adeeb commenting on Shabanaji's parsi avatar after almost three decades of Pestonjee (1988).

Adeeb has earlier directed Main aur Mr Right (Feature Film), Lovey Dovey & Kuch Spice to make it Meetha (Short Films).
