Wedding bells toll for Perizaad Zorabian. Perizaad will exchange marital vows with boyfriend Boman Irani (not the actor but the real estate developer with the same name) on Dec 7. Read on for her chat with TWF correspondent Vickey Lalwani.

Q: What is the wedding planner?
The shaadi is on December 7 at Colaba Agiary, followed by a grand reception in Taj Land's End Hotel (both in Mumbai).

Q: And the honeymoon?
(Laughs) Well, can we let that remain a secret?

Q: How did you come close to Boman?
I first met Boman about a year ago. I was invited as a judge at one of their events and that's how we met. Till then, he had only seen my movies Mumbai Matinee and Bollywood Calling.

Q: Was it love at first sight?
It was not love at first sight, but a gradual development of admiration between us. I loved the way he conducted himself. He was very real and sensible. But honestly, I had never imagined that one would one day marry someone from the Parsi community to which I myself belong.

Q: How are you feeling before marriage?
I am feeling both anxious and excited about the responsibility that comes with marriage.

Q: What are you wearing on the D-day?
I will wear a traditional white saree. I still have to buy my saree and the jewellery. I think I am going to be the most disorganised bride! The saving grace is that Boman also understands the Parsi ways.

Q: And what is Boman wearing?
(Laughs) I was asking Babes - that's what I call Boman - 'How about jeans and a nice tee on the wedding?' The whole thing hasn't sunk in yet. Gosh! Perizaad getting married, oh I can't believe it. I am so happy. My love story is going to the altar.

Q: Where will you be staying after marriage?
We will stay at Boman's house in Bandra, which is very close to my house where I stay now.

Q: Will you continue to act in films after marriage?
Change is inevitable and important. I think everything will be fine once I am settled. But yes, I will continue to act in films. I will have to learn to balance my domestic life and acting career after the marriage.

Q: Your forthcoming films?
I just completed the shooting of N. Chandra's movie 'Breaking News' and have three more films in my kitty, Meghna Gulzar's 'Baat Pakki,' director Raman Bhardwaj's one-night comedy 'Kabhi Up Kabhi Down' and a suspense thriller called 'Highway 203.'

Q: You dropped out of Salam-e-Ishq?
Yeah. My marriage was the reason. The dates were clashing. I am hopeful that I will get another chance to work with Nikhil Advani.
