This Friday witnessed one of Bollywood's most loved horror comedy starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead. With Stree, Shraddha Kapoor has given Rajkumar Rao his highest opener film ever!

Interestingly, Rajkumar Rao whose filmography boasts of a number of commercially viable female leads like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan, Sonam Kapoor to name a few, has hit a career milestone with Shraddha Kapoor's Stree.

Minting 6.82 crores on Day 1, Stree has emerged as the 12th highest opener of 2018.

While actress Shraddha Kapoor has had her highest opener with Ek Villain (2014) with approximately 16 crores, Stree gives Rajkummar his highest day one.

The film has received a thumbs up from audience and critics alike with the viewers hailing the heart warming chemistry between Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.
