Veteran actress Kirron Kher will be seen in a power-packed role in Pammi Somal's directorial debut "Mummy Ji", which is about the present-day urban Punjabi mother
shuttling between the kitchen and the club.
Described as a complete family entertainer with strong undercurrents of emotions, the film will be made in three languages - English, Hindi and Punjabi - and Kirron will play
the title role.
The role is tailor made for Kirron, who is joined by talented actors like Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff, Kanwaljit Singh, Divya Dutta, Satish Kaushik and Rohit Roy.
Punjabi singer-actor Gurdaas Mann also makes a very special appearance in the film, which went on floors last week. "Mummy Ji" is being produced by US-based Dave
Atwal of Atwal Entertainment.
Aadesh Srivastava has composed the music and Sameer has penned down the lyrics for the film.
Somal, who ventures into filmmaking with "Mummy Ji," has been an editor of a celebrity magazine and writer in the entertainment industry for over 20 years.
The makers are confident that "Mummy Ji" will hold the attention of the audiences from the first to the last frame.
