K3G picks up two Filmfare Awards while....

Although the majority of Filmfare award winners are kept secret until the big ceremony night, the technical award winners have already been given to the winners. Last year`s smash hit Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham managed to pick up two awards, for the Best Dialogues (Karan Johar) and Best Art Direction (Sharmishta Roy).

Dil Chahta Hai also bagged two awards, for Best Screenplay (Farhan Akhtar) and Best Editing (Sreekar Prasad).Surprisingly, the box office flop Aks was not forgotten at the awards and also picked two awards for Best Sound Recording (Rakesh Ranjan) and Best Background Score (Ranjit Barot).

The other films that won an award each were Lagaan (Best Story - Ashutosh Gowariker), Gadar (Best Action - Tinnu Verma), and Asoka (Best Cinematography - Santosh Sivan).
