Richa Chaddha who will be seen making her singing debut in Gwandian, a song in Dr Zeus album Global Injection has a clarification to make.
While promoting her song on social media she categorically posted "So I sang a Punjabi song... for fun! It doesn't mean I a switching careers, certainly doesn't mean I don't respect musicians (my own brother is one, I am not. Because riyaaz makes a musician, and my forte is acting). But boy was it fun! `
Interestingly Richa's younger brother Pranav Chadha is a trained musician and has given music to Richa's maiden production Khoon Aali Chithi (Punjabi). Chaddha is not the one to mince words and has always been refreshingly honest. This time too amidst a host of projects and her busy schedule, she has taken time out to follow her passion and dabble in Punjabi music.
Richa Chaddha will be seen with her favorite co-star Varun Sharma and singers Dr.Zeus and Zora Randhawa. The song is a fun take on friends and neighbours with a soon to be released quirky music video. Richa is not the only actress who has made her singing debut in 'Global Injection', joining the bandwagon is bollywood diva Nargis Fakhri in her hit Woofer which released earlier this year and Punjabi actress Mandy Takhar for a fun Laddo Rani.
Fans can breathe easy, since it is a no career switch for Richa. Atleast not anytime soon.
