The 'Sanju' helmer was honored for his spectacular direction in the film.
Rajkumar Hirani was recently quoted saying, "I feel absolutely humbled and honored for getting this since Sanju is 'Sanju' is actually a film about a great father and a great friend. As they say its easy to become a father but it's damn tough to become a good dad. So I dedicate this to all great fathers of this planet all great dads of this planet and all the great friends in the life"
The filmmaker has garnered rave reviews for Sanju and has been a recipient of multiple awards for 'Sanju' apart from getting awarded at the GQ award ceremony.
