Ace director Rajkumar Hirani who rarely takes to social media to share his views on films, was one of the first people to watch the film took to his social media and gave rave reviews.
After watching the special screening of Tumbbad, Anand L Rai was so impressed with the movie and plot that he decided to present the film. Tumbbad is a perfect blend of fantasy, action and scares.
Tumbbad was the opening film at the Venice Film Festival 2018, where it had got some glowing reviews from the critics present at the screening.
The movie has got praises for its production values, the explorative themes, the blend of horror and fantasy elements and the performances, especially the lead actor, Sohum Shah.
Touted to be a visually stunning film, Tumbbad and Sohum's performance has been receiving accolades even before the release of the film.
