Known for his well-crafted performance in Ship of Theuses, Sohum Shah has left no stone unturned to get into the skin of his character for Tumbbad.
From shooting in heavy rains to learning Marathi diction, from having bhang to act drunk to applying mud on the body, Sohum Shah has gone out of his way to do justice to his character of Vinayak Rao.
Sharing the making video, Sohum Shah tweeted saying, "Vinayak was always a character who was larger than life and scary. To make people empathise with him was always going to be a tough journey as an actor, and my creative team pushed me to my limits, both physically and emotionally, to make this happen".

Tumbbad which offers fantasy, action, frights, and scares has captivated lot of Bollywood celebs including, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, director Rajkumar Hirani, Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Tiger Shroff to name a few.
The trailer of the film has left the audience gripped as Tumbbad presents an interesting mixture of mythology, fantasy and thriller leaving everyone with a spine-chilling experience.
The much ambitious project has been roller coaster ride for Sohum Shah while Aanand L Rai defines the film as a genre-defining film.
