The film has been released in over 25 countries and is now scheduled for a theatrical release in Japan titled "Ganges Ni Kaeru" on 27th October 2018.

Written and directed by Shubhashish Bhutiani, 'Hotel Salvation' follows a son faced with his father's untimely demand to go and die in the holy city of Varanasi and attain salvation. The film starring Adil Hussain ('Life of Pi'), Lalit Behl ('Titli'), Geetanjali Kulkarni ('Court'), and Palomi Ghosh and has won over 30 International awards, including the Grand Prix Enrico Fulchignoni, the UNESCO Gandhi Medal during its premiere at Venice and two National Awards in 2017.
The critics have raved about the film which garnered 4 and 5 star reviews in UK media. Asian Culture Vulture said 'Gentle, unassuming, funny & poignant, 'Hotel Salvation' is a small gem of a film in many ways' while Empire rated it 4 stars saying, 'A simple story beautifully told'; 'A moving, rewarding watch that'll get you thinking' (Time Out) rating 4 stars whereas Sight & Sound called it 'A triumph'.
